- Congratulations to Tommy who finished as the runner-up at 130 lbs in the class 3A state championships. Tommy is the first Central wrestler to reach the finals in 25 years. Tommy finishes his career as the only four-time state place winner in Davenport school history and as the winningest Central wrestler with 153 career varsity wins. Great job Tommy!!!

- 2009 State Track & Field Summary

- Students who arrive late to BLOCK 1 will receive a 15-minute detention. This detention needs to be served within three school days of being late to school in Kahler Auditorium immediately after school. Consequences for not serving a detention will automatically move to a 1-hour detention that must be served in 1 week.

The Central cell phone and electronic device policy will be as follows: pagers, cellular phones, radios, CD/tape players, laser pointers, and other electronic and accessory devices are not permitted in Central High School’s class areas, hallways, gymnasium, or cafeteria during school hours. If a one of these devices is confiscated, the only way a student will get it back is by having a parent or guardian pick it up from the Dean’s Office in Room 425. If a student chooses not to hand over their personal item, a 3-day suspension will occur.
