  • Announcements for the Class of 2020

Seniors—below is some important information for you:

    Graduation

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Davenport Schools have reduced the graduation requirements for the class of 2020 to 20 credits.  We are committed to finding a way to celebrate graduation in person, but the ceremony planned for June 7 has been postponed. The district is exploring a variety of options, including a live ceremony on July 19.  A virtual ceremony will be held on June 6–this is in addition to the ceremony planned on 7/19; more details will follow. We will monitor Covid 19 progress and follow all state and local guidelines as decisions are being made. We believe the graduation ceremony is extremely important and will do everything we can to honor our seniors with a celebration that is fitting for their accomplishments.

    Caps and Gowns

We have confirmed cap and gown pickup for May 12th from 10:00am – 12:00pm AND from 2:00pm – 5:00 pm at the Moments With Class office, located at 4332 State Street, Bettendorf, IA 52722.  If you cannot attend on this date, a second date will be scheduled at a location to be determined.  A big thanks to Dustin James for working with us and to all of you for your patience!  Additional communication about this process would come from Mr. James, so please be sure to  check your email.
