  • Ahmad Alayadhi

AlayadhiThough it’s only been a few weeks, Ahmad Alayadhi already has a had a great experience here at Central. Being from Riyadh, which is the capital and most populous city in Saudi Arabia, Davenport, Iowa was quite the adjustment, but so far he has no complaints. “The weather is better than what we have in my county,” Alayadhi said. In addition to the significant climate the U.S. has to offer, Alayadhi also decided to make the journey here to improve his English and gain more life experience. While in attendance at Central, he plans on taking part in soccer. Back at home, Alayadhi and his friends do what most teenage boys do: play video games. “We play volleyball also,” he said. “I wanted to play volleyball[at Central]but they said just for girls.”
