    The Largest Advent Calendar in Iowa – designed by Creative Arts Students

     

     
    Did you know? Iowa’s largest advent calendar is designed by Creative Arts Academy students? The calendar is located in the windows of the German American Heritage Center & Museum in Downtown Davenport. The German American Heritage Center is located just at the base of the Centennial Bridge.
     
    A new window is revealed each day beginning December 1st.

    German American Heritage Center Opening Reception and Exhibit

     
     
     
    On Wednesday, November 14th CAA 7th grade students, along with the German American Heritage Center, held the opening reception for the new exhibit “Twas the Night Before Weihnachten: A German Christmas Story.”

    The Academy Revue

    On Thursday, October 11, the Creative Arts Academy, along with Dr. Tate, hosted The Academy Revue: A Peek Behind the Curtain. The invited crowd consisted of Academy donors, school board members, teachers, and administrators – all wonderful supporters of the Academy!
