On Friday, January 11, the Creative Arts Academy hosted the Central High School Advanced Photography class for their first Fashion Shoot Workshop. CAA teacher Clint Balsar utilized authentic Project-Based Learning to fully immerse the students into the excitement (and hard work) of hosting a fashion shoot. This type of project is an endeavor as it requires a great deal of additional planning, time, and resources. The students involved in the class are tasked with the organization of the project from start to finish. This project would not have been possible without the support and assistance of amazing community members and participants such as Em Hansen who was such a great help! Em located 3 amazing models and did all of the styling including hair, makeup, and clothing. Also, special thanks to Riverbend Retro for the loan of some beautiful furniture pieces and props and the Creative Arts Academy PTA for providing food and beverages for those involved with the shoot! Already looking forward to Fashion Shoot Workshop 2020!
