On November 10th kids at Blue Grass Elementary had Generations Day. At 1:00 grandparents came to all of the kid’s classrooms to get ready for Generations Day. On November 10th, kids at Blue Grass Elementary had a Veteran’s Day Ceremony for some of the veterans in Blue Grass. Grades K-5 presented something their grade had made for the veterans. Girl Scouts and Boy Scout presented and retired the colors. A few veterans came as guest speakers and spoke to the students about what they did in the service. The program lasted about 1 ½ -2 hours. The kids who sold 10 or more Major Saver cards got to go on a limo ride to Happy Joe’s to eat pizza and drink pop. On the limo there was lights on the ceiling, and they all changed colors.
