Gifts, Grants and Bequests

All gifts, grants or bequests to the District become property of the District.  Any employee receiving any gift, grant or bequest on behalf of the District will notify the Grants/Accounting office immediately.  The Grants/Accounting Office will determine the appropriate procedures for utilizing the gift, grant or bequest.  The Grants office will coordinate an appropriate acknowledgement to the donor.  The Accounting office will be responsible for recording the gift, grant or bequest in the District accounting records.
