    Community Responds to District’s “Shoes for Students” Shoe Drive
    ...Davenport Community Schools recently asked the community to help out with shoe donations for students in need, and the response was overwhelming! The district reached out with its request for shoes through flyers, email, school and district web sites, news coverage on KWQC-TV, and an appearance on “Paula Sands Live.” Over 500 pairs of shoes were donated by DCS families, staff, and community members.     ...Registration for 2015-16 Stepping Stones after school programs opens on Monday July 6th, 2015.
