The Davenport Community School District’s Return To Learn Guide provides families an outline of the details on how we will deliver high quality, engaging instruction in a safe environment.
As of the second semester, the District will no longer engage in a Hybrid learning model. Beginning Monday, February 15, 2021, all student(s) will engage in either 100% Face-to-Face or 100% Online-Only learning. If your student(s) is currently in the Hybrid Learning Model, they will be automatically transitioned to 100% Face-to-Face learning. If your student(s) is currently 100% Online-Only, they will remain in that format. You only need to take action if you wish to change your student’s learning platform, which can be done by contacting your school directly.
If you do plan to change your student’s learning platform, you have until 3 PM on Friday, February 5, 2021, to notify your school. Click here for a list of contact information for all Davenport Community School District schools.
Student schedules will be determined the week of February 8 – 12, which will be communicated to families at that time. Schools will continue with the pre-COVID bell schedule and an updated school year calendar will be available on the District’s website by 12 PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
Please keep in mind that these models are fluid and will continue to evolve and potentially change based on the health and safety of our students, families, staff, and community.
