A Message From Dr. Robert Kobylski Regarding The Coronavirus

March 13, 2020

At the Davenport Community School District, the safety of our students and staff is of utmost importance.

With the constant changes in recommendations from the World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control, Iowa Department of Public Health, as well as regional and local health care experts regarding COVID-19, we are taking proactive measures to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

The DCSD has more than 2,000 employees and nearly 15,000 students. It’s our role and responsibility to be proactive in protecting our students, staff and community. In order to be transparent in our communications and decision-making, we’ve developed a list of resources and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to help our parents and students understand what’s happening within our schools.
