Central and North Students Recognized by Zeta Phi Beta

Jada Baker and Makayla Smith

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. honored Central High’s Jada Baker (pictured left) and North High’s Makayla Smith (pictured right) at their seventh annual “Black Girls Who Rock!” Ceremony. Makayla was honored because of the high caliber of her character, diligence, perseverance, and round of achievements, including enormous strides in the areas of academics, community service, and personal success while maintaining a 3.9 GPA. Jada was recognized for her commitment to her education and community through her efforts in volleyball, cheer, basketball, track and field, orchestra, and various leadership clubs all while maintaining a 3.34 GPA and Academic Honors all four years of high school.
