Central Alumna Takes Leadership Role in National Society of Black Engineers

Iowa State University recently featured Central High alumna, Jocelyn Jackson, in an article about Iowa State’s chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Jocelyn is a graduate student in mechanical engineering and chair of NSBE’s Region V that includes 53 universities in the central United States. NSBE is one of the largest student-governed organizations in the country, consisting of 394 chapters and over 30,000 members, promoting development and retention of all students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) related fields. Go here to read Iowa State University’s article about Jocelyn.
