North High Pom Cats Win Awards at UDA Summer Camp

The North High Varsity Pom Cats attended the Universal Dance Association Summer Camp at Western Illinois over the summer and came home with numerous awards. The team earned a Superior rating and a 1st Place trophy in the Home Routine Competition, the Leadership Award (which was voted on by their fellow campers), the Team Full-Out Award, Drill Down camp winners, and a Superior trophy for their high ribbon count in individual dances. Individually, Nekya Hall, Emily Happel and team captain Hannah Rohlf were chosen as All-Americans and all three also received “pin-it-forward” awards for outstanding attitudes and commitment throughout camp. Hannah also was named “Drill Down Queen.” All team members received numerous ribbons for their routines and drill downs. Great job, Wildcats!
