Jared Svoboda Scores perfect 100/100 at International Thespian Festival

Jared Svoboda, a 2014 graduate of Central High, recently competed at the International Thespian Festival at the University of Nebraska. In the individual event of Musical Theatre, Jared received a perfect score of 100/100! Jared also participated in the original musical production of “Balloon Boy” in front of the entire delegation of thousands of thespians from across the country. Jared was invited to the festival for winning at the state level with his event at the University of Northern Iowa last August. Central started their thespian charter back up this year, after being inactive since the 80s, and Jared’s accomplishment means the school had a winner in their first year back. Congratulations, Jared!
