The Davenport Community Schools just wrapped up another successful annual Employee Giving Campaign. Our total gift for 2013 came in at $37,660. The breakdown for gifts is: Community Health Charities $5,942.90, Davenport Schools Foundation (supporting the Great Minds Program and student scholarships) $14,421.90, and the United Way $16,178.90.
We appreciate the generosity and hard work from everyone that made our campaign successful! A special thanks goes out to three of our schools for their special achievements during this campaign:
- Washington Elementary School – 100% employee participation
- Truman Elementary School – Raising additional funds through special events
- Frank L. Smart Intermediate School – Largest amount raised
