Employee Giving Campaign Numbers Are In!

At last the Employee Giving Campaign numbers are in! What an amazing contribution to the community. The 2012 Davenport Community Schools Employee Giving Campaign contributions totaled $42,572. We are pleased to note that Davenport Schools Foundation received a notable increase in their gifts. The majority of contributions benefitted our Stepping Stones and Great Minds programs, directly impacting our students. We’d also like to celebrate the exceptional support to the campaign by a number of our buildings. Smart Intermediate had the highest total contribution by any one building and the highest gift per employee. Eisenhower Elementary School had the top employee participation at 95%.  A special United Way award will go to Williams, Buchanan and Operations this year for their increase in total giving by 4% or increase of participation by 30%.  They will receive the one time Ruby Award to be handed out at Community Celebration on January 30 at the Putnam Museum.
